Engineering courses studied through direct entry in Nigeria takes between 3 to 4 years. But at first, the students must complete a 1 to 2 years pre-degree program on the related course before applying.

Engineering Diploma:

Engineering Courses in Nigerian polytechnics will take 2 years for the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and another two years for the Higher National Diploma (HND).
