Reasons: the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned candidates never to register for JAMB UTME and JAMB D.E at the same time.
As such, they have provided an alternative to candidates that previously registered for JAMB UTME but wish to upgrade to JAMB D.E.

To be qualified for the upgrade, the candidates must meet the following requirements and criteria;

Dear Evelyn, I just experienced the same thing and my OTP was sent yesterday, ensure Do not Disturb option is off on your phone, or you either change where you place your registration simcard, what I mean by that is to remove your simcard from you phone and insert it into a small phone.
Now contact jamb by creating a student support ticket, to do search on net on how to create student support ticket, it was so easy, and onev you do that jamb will also reply you and you will see that through a text message from 55019 if you see that then your OTP will be sent soon. I’ve go through the process unfortunately jamb is sending the OTP but my phone did not received it.

I went to jamb office for conversion but when otp was sent to me I was asked to go without asking to upload all the neccessary documents and asking for the school i wanted to change to.
I will assume that you registered JAMB UTME online. As such, JAMB will automatically fetch your UTME details and use them.
