The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) was Launched 31st of August 2021 by the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration.

NJFP is a youth empowerment partnership initiative program between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).


According to one of the 2019 estimates, over 25 million graduates in Nigeria remain unemployed.

As such, the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched NJFP aims to bridge this gap of unemployment.

NJFP Application Requirements/Criteria 2021

The following are Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) application requirements and eligibility criteria.

To be qualified for programme, the applicant must be:

  • A Fresh graduate (Bachelor’s Degree) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2017.
  • At least 30 years old or above
  • A Citizen of Nigeria
  • Able to demonstrate interest and show commitment in his/her career field.

Additionally, the applicant must:

  • Not be currently on any employment.
  • Complete the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), except the person has a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.
  • Have an excellent time management skill
  • Also have a professional attitude.
  • Be able to demonstrate interest and commitment to contribute to the Nigerian socio-economic development.
  • Have good communication skills.
