ASUU Give Assurance of Resuming Soon

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has called off it’s 8 months strike. This has brought an immediate suspension to the unexpected and indefinitely break that occurred during the ASUU and Federal Government misunderstandings.

I have decided to keep students updated with information on when there are resuming academic activities now that ASUU has called off the strike.

As such, this update is aimed at informing all prospective Nigerian University students on when school resume in Nigeria after strike.

In today’s update, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has expressed to students that the ASUU strike has been suspended conditionally.

When will Universities Resume After ASUU Strike?

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) according to it’s update has called off it’s 8 months strike today being Friday, 14th October 2022.

As such, all Universities academic activities will resume on Monday October 2022 and all federal Universities are expected to adhere to this date.

If your University is one of the universities under the Academic Staff Union of Universities in Nigeria, then you should be expecting the resumption of academic activities from 17th October 2022.

University Resumption Date After ASUU Strike 2022

Every concerned Nigerian Universities Students are hereby informed that all universities activities will likely resume on Monday 17th August 2022 as ASUU have suspended it’s 8 months strike as promised.

Prior to the calling off of the ASUU industrial strike action, all students are hereby advised to prepare for the resumption of academic activities.

Meanwhile, the actual dates scheduled for the resumption of academic activities has not been disclosed yet. Also note that each university has the liberty to schedule their own reopening date to suit their schedules.

What is the New Resumption Date for Schools in Nigeria?

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike action have been called off on Friday being 14th October 2022. As such, all academic activities in the universities will start from Monday 17th October 2022.

This date also include all tertiary institutions in Nigeria that were affected by the sudden academic break.
