1. Lagos State University (Lasu)
In 1983, Lagos State University (LASU) was established as a public University by the enabling law of Lagos State, having it’s main campus located at Ojo. The university was established with a mission to pursue the improvement of learning and academic excellence, and ever since then the university has never backed out in it’s pursuit of becoming a centre of learning, a university known for excellence in teaching, research and service to humanity.

For the O/level subject combination for law in LASU, aspirants will need to have at least five (5) O/level credit in the following subjects; English Language, Mathematics, Literature-in-English and any (2) subjects from Arts, Science, Social Science or Trade. While the JAMB subject combination includes; English Language, And any (3) subjects from Arts or Social Science.
2. Delta State University (Delsu)
Delta state university is a state owned university usually referred to as DELSU. The university operates a multi-campus system, having its main campus in Abraka, Delta State and it’s sub campus at Oleh. The university offers a range of programmes from the full-time certificate, diploma and degree programmes to part-time evening and weekend degree programmes.
The faculty of law in DELSU is made up of 3 departments which are, Commercial and Property Law, Jurisprudence and International Law, Private Law and Public Law. The years you will spend studying law in DELSU depends on your mode of entry, for students who gained admission through direct entry, they will study law in DELSU for 5 years. While for students who gained admission through JAMB, they will study law in DELSU for 6 years.
To begin with the admission requirements, aspirants are to have at least 5 O/level credits to include: English Language, Literature-in-English, Mathematics, and two (2) other subjects from Arts and Social Sciences. For the JAMB requirements, the aspirant must ensure to get the correct JAMB subject combination which are, Use of English, Literature-in-English, And any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.
Aspirants who have not reached the age of 16 during the period of admission will not be considered for admission to study law in Delta State University.
3. Osun State University (Uniosun)
Osun State University is a state owned university, established in the year 2006 by the Osun State government under the administration of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola. The university operates a multi-campus system and currently has six campuses distributed across the six administrative zones of the state.
Osun State University had a reputation of not being caught up in the Nationwide ASUU strike, until the 2013 ASUU strike which lasted for over five months. The university is also said to be one of the fastest universities in Nigeria, based on the quick academic calendar the school operates.

Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti was established as Obafemi Awolowo University, Ado-Ekiti in 1982 by the administration of Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin, who was the first civilian governor of Ondo State. The university is a state government owned and operated Nigerian university, located in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The university is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
