First-year Student (Freshman) Entry Requirements

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Submission of SAT or ACT test scores is optional.

International Students Requirements

  • A reported TOEFL, IELTS to the UCSD office of admissions for students from countries that don’t use English in school.
  • The TOEFL must have a minimum score of 83 and the IELTS must have a minimum score of 7.
