The school management of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) have released an updated information on the release of the UNIMAID Admission list 2022/2023.
According to this update, the UNIMAID first admission list contains the names of all qualified UTME and direct entry candidates offered provisional admission into the university.
Meanwhile, the list of all the successful candidates that UNIMAID has offered admission into various courses is to be checked online.

Has UNIMAID started giving admission? Firstly, we are glad to notify you that the news on the release of the UNIMAID first, and second admission list has been updated.
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) admission list for the 2022/2023 session can be viewed, checked and downloaded.
You can now check your UNIMAID admission status through the steps explained below via JAMB CAPS and UNIMAID portal.
How to Check UNIMAID Admission Status 2022
JAMB CAPS allows candidates to check their admission status for free before making payment for Admission Letter Printing.
- Visit https://portal.jamb.gov.ng
- Scroll to “Check Admission Status” and click on “Click to Proceed”
- You will be taken to https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility./
- Login to your JAMB Profile account
- Enter your email in the column labelled “e-Mail Address”
- Fill in your password in the column labelled “Password”
- Hit the log in button to continue
- After logging in, scroll through the JAMB services and select “Check Admission Status”
- Click the “Access my CAPS” to continue to JAMB CAPS
- Navigate to the CAPS side menu and select “Admission Status” to see your admission status

Is Unimaid still giving admission?
According JAMB and UNIMAID admission procedures, the University of Maiduguri is still giving permitted to give out admission to qualified candidates via JAMB CAPS.
Meanwhile, the UNIMAID subsequent admission lists will be released as the second list and the third list via the UNIMAID supplementary list and will be uploaded on UNIMAID JAMB CAPS portal.
Is Unimaid second batch admission out? As at the time of filing this information, the UNIMAID second batch and the third batch will be uploaded directly on JAMB CAPS portal and UNIMAID website for candidates to check.
Candidates are to follow the same steps explained below to check their names on the second and third batch on JAMB CAPS and UNIMAID status portal.
